As dentists we possibly spend just as long answering questions and listening to our clients while discussing treatments as we do actually treating them.

As a dental clinic, the more we ask the more we understand and this helps us deliver the service and dental care you have come looking for.

Miguel de Cervantes once said ‘Every tooth in a mans head is more valuable than a diamond’ So we ask a lot of questions and we expect to answer a lot from you because we are here to help you look after these diamonds.

Here are just a few that we are often asked:

* Can I come to you for treatment and go back to my usual dentist after?

Of course you can.
We appreciate that we provide services which may not be on offer at your current dentist.
We are more than happy to welcome you to our clinic for these services and then return you to your normal dentist for your routine and future dental care. We will pass on any information they request regarding your treatment with us and pass on any x-rays if this also helps them.

* Do you take NHS?

No, here in Aviemore we are a private practice offering an extensive list of services with no restrictions on treatment options which is the case in NHS practices.

To ensure you are kept completely up to date with all your routine dental care and maintenance appointments we do offer fantastic membership plans from as little as £17 per month. Not only does this cover your routine appointments and hygiene sessions but it also entitles you to 15% off any treatment not included with the plan and has some other great benefits like world wide dental accident cover and free small digital x-rays to mention just a couple
Joining is really straightforward, just a simple form for you to complete and let us take care of the rest.

* Will it hurt?

Most of our treatments are very gentle delicate procedures. We do our very best to keep the discomfort to a minimum. We use a local anaesthetic to numb the area and often clients don’t feel a thing.

* Can you help?

We very much hope so. Our highly trained team have differing areas of interest meaning we have an extensive service list with lots of advanced treatments on offer. Both Dr Simon and Dr Agnieszka are extremely skilled and very passionate about their chosen fields of dentistry. We have clients visiting from throughout the country to have their treatment with us.
If we felt that your dental issue was not something we could help you with here at the clinic we would refer you to a specialist for you to investigate the treatment options with them.

* I can’t afford it, can I pay it up?

Absolutely, for larger treatment plans we offer numerous repayment plans.
Often treatment plans are staged and we would never ask for any part of the treatment to be paid for before it was carried out.
Some clients like to take advantage of our 12 month interest free option while others are more comfortable with spreading the repayments over longer terms of up to 5 years.
We are always to keen to find a repayment plan that suits you and will help in any way we can.

* How white will my teeth go?

The truthful answer is, we don’t know.
Everyone’s teeth are different and some factors in your lifestyle affect the results. We do have a whitening system on offer which will guarantee shade B1 which is the whitest natural shade.
What we can promise is that we will use our knowledge and experience to give you the best advice before, during and after your whitening treatment and will provide you will a tailor made whitening plan to try and achieve the best results for you.
If we feel that your expectations are beyond the abilities of whitening then we will tell you that at the start. And just to mention, whitening procedures only whiten the natural tooth- any crows, veneers, fillings would remain their current shade.

* How much is a dentist consultation ?

Free! Are consultations are complimentary. We appreciate you taking time out of your day to come and discuss your possible treatment with us, in return we will listen to your concerns, your expectations and present you with the options.
These are no-obligation consultations. We encourage you to take away the information you are given on the day as well as the treatment plan we propose and consider how you would like to proceed. * Lighter, darker? Round, square? …I don’t know, what do you think?

When it comes to makeovers this is often what we are asked when decisions are needed.
Honestly, it doesn’t matter what we think – it’s your smile, they’re your teeth and it’s your decision. We are happy to offer advice however the final decision is yours.
