Wait !  Oh No ! you have forgotten something ! Something very very important-  YOU have FORGOTTEN about your wedding SMILE 🙁

Don’t panic! We are sure there is still time to do something.

Let’s  see what your options are:

1 year till the wedding

Ohh relax, you have plenty time do do something

Teeth straightening for all those crooked teeth you always hated, veneers, dental implant for that missing front tooth, teeth whitening, composite bonding to close the gaps if you cannot get your head around wearing braces, new fillings in the front teeth if you don’t want the old discoloured ones in your wedding photos so don’t have to cover your smile with the flowers.

6 months till the wedding

Surprise ! All of the above can still happen ! Yes , even teeth straightening with all new fancy short term braces or clear aligners you can get your smile sorted in six months or less.

3 months till the wedding

Ok, that gets a little tougher.

Technically you could still get all of the above. Fair enough your implant crown might be only be a temporary version but still better then a missing tooth or denture. Teeth straightening? hmm that’s a tricky one but if your teeth need just minor corrections you may just make it on time. You can also talk to your dentist to take braces off for the wedding and pop them back on after to complete the treatment. Not ideal but your teeth surely are going to be better then before.

Rest of the options…. no problem at all.

1 month till the wedding

Ok, you can forget teeth straightening and implants but you can still do veneers, teeth whitening, teeth contouring, bonding to close gaps, filling replacements, scale and polish of your teeth, air polish.

 2 weeks to the wedding

Unless its a single or a maximum of 2 veneers you are not going to pull this one off with porcelain veneers but if you want to settle for instant veneers yes it can be done and you still have time for the other treatments 🙂

1 week to the wedding

Not much time left, is it? Are you in a panic mode?  Ok don’t worry, something can still be done. Let’s see…  instant veneers YES! Teeth whitening YES! Better get the power whitening for instant results but even with home whitening custom trays your teeth will look much brighter than now. Cosmetic contouring YES! Cosmetic Bonding YES! Filling replacements YES!

wedding is tomorrow !

Hmm …. Now you are really panicking ! You hate your teeth, they are crooked, uneven, stained, few chipped on the edges and kinda yellow comparing to all your friends ones. You still can get at least a scale and polish or air polish to remove existing staining and give them a refreshed look. You may even pull off some quick power teeth whitening

But if that is not an option here are our emergency tips

•  Find your best angle, practice in front of the mirror to find out what angle makes your teeth look best, tilting your head can do a pretty good cover up on some crooked, gappy teeth
• Whiter teeth take attention away from crooked teeth, people will notice colour before they will look at their straightness
• Use lipstick with blue undertones to create the impression of whiter teeth. Avoid all brown, peach, orange and coral shades as they pick up yellow colours from the teeth and make them look even darker. Try to use pink or reds
• Use lipstick with some shine or shimmer. It will reflect light making your teeth look brighter. Matt thick lipsticks last longer but tend to make your teeth appear darker
• Have a glass of water or lick your teeth before the photo, it will reflect light better from their surface and will make them sparkle
• Make sure your lips are not dry. Dry lips will get focus on the teeth instead of the full face. Exfoliate your lips a day before, then cover them with a thick balm and sleep with it on overnight. If you don’t have any exfoliating cream use an electric toothbrush 🙂
• Wear bronzer. Correctly applied bronzer will make your teeth look whiter
